How do I make money on my SimpleSite?
There are various ways in which you can make money with your Simplesite, here are a few ideas.
Promote your business
One way is to use your Simplesite as an effective way promote your business or activity. Having a website about your business allows you to present what you do and make sure people can gain easy access to information regarding the services you offer. It’s a really great way to earn visibility for your professional activity.
Sell products online
Another option is to sell your products through our webshop feature. The types of products you can sell on your webshop is extremely varied: if you have your own business you can of course sell your products online, but you don’t need to have a professional business to start your own webshop. You can sell your own small creations, for example, or set up a second hand shop – there are many options!
You can activate the webshop feature by clicking on the "Start online store" button in your SiteEditor (after you log into your website).
Promote other products on other websites
A great way in which you can also earn money through your site is to write about a passion of yours – something you know a lot about and love. And use that to promote some products or services and get rewarded for that.
Let’s say for example that you’re passionate about leading a healthy lifestyle: you can create a site in which you post good tips, things you have experienced that could be useful for others to know about if they are trying to lead a healthy lifestyle, your personal daily exercise and food routines etc.
You can then include good books or good products connected to your passion through an affiliate program like Amazon.com. By blogging about a product or service and giving your readers a unique affiliate link through which they can purchase the product, you will receive a commission.
You should be aware though that there are some rules regarding this type of site with us: your content should be original, extensive and coherent.
