How do I add a video page?
First of all, make sure you are logged in to your site and that you start from your "Preview Page".
Here is a video on how to log in to your website and how to navigate to your Preview Page from anywhere within your site.
Here is how you can create a video page:
- Click on “Add page”
- To add a video use any of the following templates: "Front Page", "Standard page", "Blog" or "Video". Click on the icon of the chosen template
- Now your page has been created! You can add content to it by clicking on “Edit this page”
- On the screen that appears, enter a name for your video page
- Then, in the next section, choose the video icon
When you press this icon, a window opens. There, you decide whether you want to insert a video made by you that is located on your own PC, a YouTube video or a video from Vimeo. Click on the appropriate icon and follow the instructions:
a. If you want to upload your own video, press "Insert your own video - Click Here"
b. If you want to upload a video from YouTube, click on “Insert video from YouTube”, copy and paste the video link in the space provided after the phrase "YouTube link (E.g. Http://www.youtube.com/watch)"
c. If you want to upload a video from Vimeo, click on “Insert video from Vimeo”, copy and paste the video link in the space provided after the phrase “Vimeo link (E.g. Http://vimeo.com/ ...)"
When finished, do not forget to press "Save and preview"
Note: If you want to put multiple videos on one page, use the template "Front Page", "Standard page" or "Blog" and not the "Video" template - as the Video template can only have one video per page.
